Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director, famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he can perform both dramatic and comedic parts. He's also played a few romantic characters and played in numerous action films during his professional career. He was attracted to performing and acting when the age of his teens and tried his luck at stand-up comedy when he was young men. It was not a successful stand-up career, however it was a step for a career in acting. As he was not able to become the actor of his dreams, he chose to work as a TV cameraman. When he was working in the station when he realized it was his dream to be on camera. After landing a job on television, he appeared in many episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His talent as an actor made him popular in television. His comedic characters brought him fame and he embarked upon a career as a filmmaker with high ambitions. His career was further enhanced when he won acclaim for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In time his acting ability developed and he was able to look into directing and producing. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
